Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments including virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Implement and maintain robust security protocols, firewalls, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Oversee network infrastructure including routers, switches, and SD-WAN solutions
- Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Design and execute disaster recovery/business continuity plans
- Collaborate with development teams on DevOps initiatives and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with emphasis on hybrid cloud environments
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking
- Certifications in CompTIA Security+, AWS SysOps, or Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds) and ticketing systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex infrastructure issues
- Excellent communication abilities with cross-functional teams
