Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtualization platforms
- Proactively monitor and optimize network performance using SolarWinds and Nagios
- Execute security protocols including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and compliance audits
- Lead disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning initiatives
- Automate infrastructure workflows using Python/Ansible and Terraform
- Document system architecture and create technical runbooks for team knowledge base
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and CI/CD pipeline experience
- ITIL certification and familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues at layers 2-7
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft)
