Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS and Azure services.
- Implement and enforce robust network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and encryption.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and configuration management using Python, Bash, or Ansible.
- Lead server migrations, hardware upgrades, and virtualization projects (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Monitor system health and performance using tools like Nagios or Prometheus, proactively resolving issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of applications and databases.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a System Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.
- CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
