Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to maintain high-quality standards
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize microservices architecture for performance and reliability
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Drive technical debt reduction and system improvements
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Spring Boot
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and microservices architecture
- Strong proficiency in SQL databases and NoSQL solutions
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
