Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the Security Operations Center, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and response.
- Design, implement, and manage SIEM (Splunk, QRadar) and SOAR (Palo Alto, Demisto) solutions to automate threat detection.
- Oversee the Incident Response (IR) process, conducting post-incident reviews and root cause analysis.
- Develop and enforce corporate security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with NIST and ISO frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage vendor relationships for third-party security assessments and penetration testing.
- Mentor and train SOC analysts to foster a culture of continuous improvement and threat awareness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (SOC Manager/Lead).
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or SSCP required; CEH or OSCP preferred.
- Extensive experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security (Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to executive stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure incident response scenarios.
