Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) alerts and manage triage queues during weekend shifts.
- Execute incident response procedures to contain and neutralize cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scanning and log analysis to proactively identify risks.
- Document security incidents, forensic findings, and remediation steps in the SIEM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security policies and access controls.
- Participate in red team exercises and penetration testing planning.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or SOC operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, LogRhythm) and EDR solutions.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Must be willing and available to work rotational weekend shifts (Fri-Mon or Sat-Sun).
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
