Responsibilities
- Continuous Monitoring: Oversee and analyze security alerts, logs, and telemetry 24/7 to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and containment of security breaches, working with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to proactively strengthen our defenses.
- Security Operations: Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems to ensure a secure operational environment.
- Reporting: Generate detailed post-incident reports and present findings to senior leadership to improve our security posture.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security or SOC Analysis, specifically within a Weekend Shift environment.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and incident response frameworks (NIST).
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
