The Role:
You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about cybersecurity, we want to hear from you today.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our network infrastructure.
- Manage and mitigate security incidents, including root cause analysis and post-incident reporting.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training to employees to reduce human error and phishing risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certification required: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
