Responsibilities
- Design & Optimization: Craft highly complex, nuanced, and effective prompts to maximize the performance of LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama).
- Model Fine-Tuning: Collaborate with data scientists to fine-tune foundation models based on user feedback and specific business requirements.
- Evaluation: Establish rigorous evaluation metrics and test suites to measure the accuracy, safety, and creativity of AI outputs.
- Content Strategy: Develop best practices and documentation for prompt engineering standards across the organization.
- Integration: Integrate prompt engineering workflows into existing software development pipelines and APIs.
- Research: Stay ahead of the curve with the latest advancements in NLP and generative AI architectures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computational Linguistics, or a related AI field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and Hugging Face Transformers.
- LLM Knowledge: Deep understanding of how Large Language Models work, including attention mechanisms, tokenization, and context windows.
- Creativity: Exceptional creativity and an eye for detail when structuring prompts for complex tasks.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
