Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-quality prompts to achieve specific outcomes for Large Language Models (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama).
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and iterative refinement of prompt chains to maximize model accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate prompt engineering best practices into broader AI systems.
- Develop advanced prompt libraries and templates to standardize AI interactions across the organization.
- Analyze model outputs to identify edge cases, biases, and failure modes, implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide training on effective prompt design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in NLP, Machine Learning, or a similar AI-focused role.
- Proven expertise in working with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, etc.) and fine-tuning models.
- Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts, syntax, and semantic meaning.
- Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with Python and API integration (RESTful APIs) is highly desirable.
