Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine system prompts and user prompts for high-end LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Llama 3).
- Develop complex prompt chains to guide AI through multi-step reasoning and creative tasks.
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize output quality and reduce hallucinations.
- Collaborate with data scientists and backend engineers to integrate prompt strategies into production APIs.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive internal knowledge base of prompt engineering best practices.
- Evaluate AI outputs for tone, clarity, and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in copywriting, content strategy, or software development.
- Exceptional command of the English language with a keen eye for grammar, nuance, and style.
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures, NLP concepts, and tokenization.
- Experience working with APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace) and Python scripting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related technical field.
- Ability to think critically, iterate quickly, and debug complex prompt behaviors.
