Responsibilities
- Design, test, and iterate prompt strategies for large language models (LLMs) to achieve specific business outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI researchers, developers, product managers) to integrate prompt engineering solutions
- Develop documentation frameworks for prompt libraries and best practices
- Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations to optimize model outputs
- Analyze model responses to identify improvement opportunities and refine approaches
- Train stakeholders on prompt engineering principles and implementation
- Stay current with emerging LLM capabilities and prompt engineering methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience with prompt engineering or AI model interaction design
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks (Hugging Face, OpenAI API)
- Exceptional written communication and creative problem-solving abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt engineering projects or NLP applications
- Understanding of LLM limitations and ethical considerations in AI development
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable prompts
- Experience with rapid prototyping in agile environments
