As a key member of our AI Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop prompt engineering frameworks that enhance model accuracy, reduce bias, and deliver exceptional user experiences. You'll work with cutting-edge LLMs including GPT-4, Claude, and open-source alternatives while implementing best practices for prompt security and ethical AI deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize AI prompts for enterprise-level natural language processing systems
- Develop prompt engineering frameworks to improve model accuracy, coherence, and task-specific performance
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompt-based solutions into production AI systems
- Create documentation and training materials for prompt engineering best practices
- Analyze prompt performance metrics and iterate based on A/B testing results
- Research emerging prompt techniques and evaluate new LLM capabilities
- Implement ethical safeguards and bias mitigation strategies in prompt design
- Lead workshops to educate stakeholders on prompt engineering principles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or AI/NLP development
- Proven track record of optimizing prompts for production LLMs (GPT, Claude, etc.)
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Experience with prompt libraries like LangChain, Haystack, or custom frameworks
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective prompt strategies
- Proficiency in Python and prompt engineering tools (e.g., OpenAI API, Anthropic API)
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in A/B testing and performance measurement
