Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize Cisco/Juniper network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement and troubleshoot VPNs, VLANs, and wireless networks across multi-site environments
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and proactively resolve bottlenecks
- Lead network migrations and upgrades while maintaining zero downtime
- Document network architecture and create SOPs for operational excellence
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust security protocols
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network incidents
Qualifications
- CCNP/JNCIP certification with 5+ years enterprise networking experience
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols
- Proficiency in automation tools (Python, Ansible) for network provisioning
- Strong background in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust)
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure networking services)
- Ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior technicians
- Excellent problem-solving skills with root cause analysis capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
