Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade network architectures using Cisco, Juniper, and VMware technologies
- Lead troubleshooting of complex network outages and performance issues
- Manage network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Collaborate with cloud teams to optimize hybrid cloud connectivity
- Mentor junior technicians and document network configurations
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience
- CCNP/JNCIP certification required (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions and automation tools (Python/Ansible)
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex network issues
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for occasional on-site visits
