Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Design and maintain complex database schemas and data models to support business reporting needs.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to track KPIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and answer business questions.
- Perform predictive modeling and statistical analysis to forecast future trends.
- Document data pipelines and create technical specifications for data engineering teams.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, concise manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and scripting languages (Python or R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to relocate to Austin, TX.
