Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data pipelines using SQL and Python to process agricultural sensor data
- Develop interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI to visualize crop performance metrics
- Perform statistical analysis on soil composition, weather patterns, and yield data
- Create predictive models for harvest forecasting and resource allocation optimization
- Collaborate with agronomists to translate findings into actionable farm management recommendations
- Present data-driven insights to executive stakeholders and external agricultural partners
- Maintain data governance standards ensuring compliance with agricultural regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience with SQL and Python
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong statistical modeling background with experience in predictive analytics
- Familiarity with agricultural data sources and industry-specific metrics
- Proven ability to translate complex data into business recommendations
- Certification in data analysis (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Azure) preferred
- Experience working with large-scale time-series datasets
