Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and opportunities
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Develop predictive models to forecast policy outcomes and resource allocation needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Present data-driven insights to senior leadership and government partners
- Maintain data quality standards and implement robust ETL processes
- Mentor junior analysts and champion data literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive data analysis experience with federal government or public sector clients
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Advanced skills in Tableau and Power BI with portfolio of complex visualizations
- Strong experience with data warehousing and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Certification in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Tableau Desktop Specialist) preferred
