Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and virtualized environments
- Proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, and automate workflows using Ansible/Python
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise firewall configurations (Palo Alto/Fortinet)
- Oversee backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline integration
- Document system architecture and create SOPs for operational excellence
- Mentor junior staff and implement security best practices (NIST/CIS compliance)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration with hybrid cloud experience
- Expertise in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Administrator preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash/PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs)
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under SLA pressure
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
