Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events across the enterprise infrastructure during off-hours.
- Perform incident triage, classification, and initial response for security breaches.
- Conduct log analysis and threat hunting to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Escalate critical incidents to Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams immediately.
- Document all security events and maintain accurate incident reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and improve defenses.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and endpoint protection.
- Experience with Linux, Windows, and network protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during the weekend shift with minimal supervision.
