Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage incident response plans and coordinate recovery efforts during security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security patches and best practices across the network.
- Provide security training and awareness to staff members to foster a culture of security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ (or actively working towards them).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or information security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
