Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors during security breaches.
- Manage and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Perform regular security audits and penetration testing simulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, GSEC, or CISM.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and attack vectors.
- Experience with remote work tools and maintaining productivity without physical supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
