Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches
- Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts using Splunk and AlienVault
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks)
- Collaborate with network and cloud teams on security architecture
- Provide threat intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with minimal supervision
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
