Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems 24/7 to detect and respond to security threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Investigate security breaches, analyze logs, and implement remediation strategies.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NYDFS 500 regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during incident response.
- Valid authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
