Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial systems
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for incident response procedures
- Analyze network traffic and logs to identify anomalous activities
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or SOC operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and financial industry regulations
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
