Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our threat detection efforts and incident response initiatives. You will act as the first line of defense, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough investigations of suspicious network traffic and system anomalies.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, playbooks, and runbooks.
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams to implement security patches and configurations.
- Provide security awareness training to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certification: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SOC or Security Operations role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and attack methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents 24/7 rotation.
