Responsibilities
- Architecture Design: Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to manage and provision resources efficiently.
- CI/CD Implementation: Build and maintain robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system health, analyze metrics, and optimize cloud costs and application performance.
- Collaboration: Partner with software developers and DevOps teams to troubleshoot complex issues and integrate new features into the cloud environment.
- Security Compliance: Enforce best practices for cloud security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Containerization: Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, load balancers, and VPCs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
