Responsibilities
- Lead Research & Development: Spearhead the architecture of proprietary neural networks designed to outperform current state-of-the-art models by 2026.
- Model Optimization: Implement advanced quantization and pruning techniques to deploy LLMs on edge devices with minimal latency.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Rapid Prototyping: Utilize PyTorch and JAX to rapidly iterate on experimental architectures and validate hypotheses.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish and enforce safety guidelines to prevent bias and ensure responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in research and development, specifically within Deep Learning and NLP.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Publication Record: A track record of publishing in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) or open-sourcing significant ML tools.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
