Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, security breaches, and performance issues
- Implement network security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams on network upgrades and technology transitions
- Provide remote technical support to end-users across multiple locations
- Conduct regular network audits and performance assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent industry-recognized credentials
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to work independently
- Valid Hawaii driver's license for occasional on-site visits
