Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine complex prompts for various LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama) to maximize output quality and safety.
- Implement prompt engineering best practices including chain-of-thought reasoning and few-shot learning.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and software engineers to integrate prompt logic into production APIs.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and analytics to evaluate prompt performance and iterate for better conversion rates.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of prompt templates and system instructions.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in NLP and AI model capabilities.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, software development, or data science.
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and transformer architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, JSON, and API integration.
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills.
- Experience with prompt chaining, role-playing, and persona engineering.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical prompt specifications.
