As a Prompt Engineer, you will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to optimize model performance, ensuring our AI solutions are not only accurate but also safe, ethical, and creative.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and refine high-quality prompts to maximize the output quality of Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI tools.
- Conduct A/B testing and iterative experimentation to identify optimal prompt structures for various use cases.
- Analyze model outputs to identify biases, inaccuracies, or safety concerns, and implement guardrails accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers) to integrate prompt engineering best practices into product features.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and AI research to continuously improve our internal methodologies.
- Document prompt libraries and create style guides to ensure consistency across the organization.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in copywriting, technical writing, or a related field with a strong focus on user intent.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using and fine-tuning AI models such as GPT-4, Claude, or Llama.
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and how LLMs process context.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and model responses to drive improvements.
- Proficiency in Python or SQL is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex problems using language-based solutions.
