Responsibilities
- Develop & Refine Prompts: Create, test, and iterate on high-quality prompts to maximize the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated content.
- Model Evaluation: Analyze model responses to identify biases, errors, or inconsistencies, providing actionable feedback to the engineering team.
- Library Management: Maintain and organize a comprehensive repository of effective prompt templates for various use cases.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and developers to define the 'guardrails' for AI behavior.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct A/B testing on different prompt strategies to determine the most effective approaches.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in prompt engineering or a related role (1+ years preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with major LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Bard, etc.) and their API interfaces.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional command of the English language, with a keen eye for grammar, tone, and nuance.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex prompt issues.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field is highly desirable.
