In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of our client networks. You will work closely with our senior engineers to resolve complex connectivity issues, deploy network upgrades, and ensure that critical systems remain operational. Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues for local and remote users.
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Perform routine hardware inventory, cable management, and physical infrastructure maintenance.
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate logs of all changes and incidents.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and end-users.
Qualifications
- CCNA or equivalent networking certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or help desk support.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching concepts.
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Alaska driver's license and ability to travel to client sites within Anchorage.
