Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Sentinel) and investigate security alerts with 15-minute SLA
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and coordinate incident response playbooks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise assets
- Develop security documentation including risk assessments and compliance reports
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IaaS/PaaS environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize high-volume alerts
- Familiarity with NIST CSF and ISO 27001 frameworks
