- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with minimal supervision
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop and maintain security documentation, policies, and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence
- Assist in security audits and compliance reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in security tools: Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
