Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM logs for suspicious activity 24/7.
- Perform daily vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Configure and manage network firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls.
- Conduct regular user access reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training.
- Document security incidents and create detailed incident reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Active CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, or Microsoft Sentinel).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and common network protocols.
- Experience with incident response methodologies (NIST framework).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
