Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and patches
- Analyze malware and develop mitigation strategies
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network analysis
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and common network protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active CISSP or CISA preferred
