This hybrid role requires 20-25 hours weekly, with 2 days in-office collaboration and 3 remote days. You'll architect cloud-native solutions, automate deployment pipelines, and ensure enterprise-grade security—all while mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures on AWS/GCP
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance SLAs
- Implement robust security controls (IAM, VPC, encryption)
- Troubleshoot complex production issues with root cause analysis
- Document cloud infrastructure and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on AWS/GCP experience with Terraform
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Professional Cloud Engineer
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and DevOps workflows
- Proficient in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
