Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for potential security breaches and malicious activity.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Respond to and mitigate security incidents in real-time, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Configure and manage security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Document security protocols and incident reports for audit trails.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer networks, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Basic knowledge of network security concepts and threat vectors.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
