Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal functionality and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Perform regular network audits and security updates to protect organizational data.
- Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for future reference.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and hardware issues.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or A+ certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper network equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
