Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot local and wide-area networks (LAN/WAN).
- Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco/Juniper preferred).
- Perform network audits and security assessments to ensure compliance.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures accurately.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve connectivity issues with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with the IT team to upgrade network hardware and software.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certification such as CCNA, Network+, or CCNP is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with network topology design and implementation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software network failures.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
