Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless systems
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime to proactively identify issues
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Document network configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures
- Lead troubleshooting for complex network outages and implement resolution strategies
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid architecture integration
- Train junior technicians on network best practices and technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network hardware
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent industry certification required
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Proficiency in network automation with Python or Ansible
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking services and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with network analysis tools (Wireshark, Nagios)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
