Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure.
- Automate deployment, provisioning, and management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable software delivery.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2) across all cloud environments.
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve application architecture and deployment workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
- Strong proficiency with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Kubernetes and Docker.
- Expert knowledge of Linux and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Valid professional certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
