Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other data communications systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform regular network audits to ensure security compliance and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot bandwidth issues.
- Assist in the planning and deployment of network upgrades and expansions.
- Document all network configurations and changes accurately.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Valid Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in network administration or support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry networking equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
