Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and security issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and preventative maintenance.
- Document network architecture and changes accurately.
- Collaborate with the IT team to upgrade legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or A+ preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Familiarity with routing and switching protocols.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (field work may be required).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
