Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the San Francisco hub.
- System Optimization: Oversee the migration of legacy models to the 2026 protocol, ensuring zero-downtime transitions and significant performance improvements.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols for the 2026 architecture to protect proprietary data and ensure compliance with US federal regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders and product teams to align engineering goals with business objectives.

Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role designing large-scale AI systems.
