In this role, you will assist in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our client's data.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Analyze network traffic logs and system events to detect anomalies and malicious activities.
- Assist senior analysts in conducting forensic investigations and malware analysis.
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
- Document security incidents, findings, and remediation steps in accordance with compliance standards.
- Contribute to the development and updating of incident response playbooks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CompTIA CySA+ are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, OSI models, and common network attacks.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows command line interfaces.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
