Responsibilities
- Tier 1 Support: Assist end-users with hardware and software troubleshooting, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Ticket Management: Log and track IT support tickets in the helpdesk system, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- User Onboarding: Assist in the setup and configuration of new employee workstations, ensuring they have the necessary access and tools.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and alertness to identify potential issues before they affect business operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical procedures, software updates, and troubleshooting guides.
- Asset Management: Assist in the inventory management of IT equipment and hardware assets.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required, but familiarity with basic computer operations and the internet is essential.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Attitude: A proactive approach to learning and a strong desire to solve problems.
