Responsibilities
- Conduct user research through interviews and surveys to identify pain points
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using Figma
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Develop and maintain design systems for consistency across projects
- Analyze user behavior data to iterate on design improvements
- Participate in design sprints and agile ceremonies
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating UX design process (school projects, personal work, or freelance)
- Associate's degree or higher in Design, HCI, or related field OR equivalent self-taught experience
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for design handoff
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passion for learning new design methodologies and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
