Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar
- Document security incidents and assist with forensic investigations
- Perform vulnerability scans and patch management for client systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices
- Participate in phishing simulations and security awareness campaigns
- Assist with compliance audits (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Stay updated on emerging threats through ongoing training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred but not required)
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
